Born and raised in McPherson, Kansas, I grew up in a tight-knit community surrounded by family and friends. My childhood was defined by simple joys: days spent at the library, the local pool, and my Mimi’s house. While I appreciate the quiet roots that started my journey, moving to Wichita 11 years ago opened my eyes to the breadth of Kansas and the world beyond. I now live in Wichita with my family and truly enjoy the vibrant life we've built here.

I am a mama, and wife who finds beauty in all the details. My husband and high school sweetheart, inspired my journey into photography, a passion I’m so grateful to pursue! Our world revolves around our daughter, Thea—whose name means "Gift of God"—and our senior fur baby, Zyaa, who is forever young at heart. Whether I’m behind the lens or spending time with my family, my heart is always full!

Just like my photography, I find beauty in the simple joys of life. Whether we’re taking nature walks through Riverside, exploring the zoo, or visiting new places, we love being on the move. We’re also huge foodies! I’ve had the pleasure of introducing Cole and his family to Filipino cuisine, and they are now officially addicted to my favorites, Lumpia and Pancit. When we aren't out adventuring or busy in the kitchen, you can find us at home watching movies—I love that we share a passion for so many different genres.

Throughout my life, my ethnicity has always been a point of intrigue. Because my Mimi adopted my dad, a large part of his heritage remained a mystery to us. In 2018, I turned to DNA Ancestry to finally uncover our true roots. I already knew I was half Filipino from my mother’s side (with some Polynesian roots from my grandfather), but the results finally filled in the blanks for my father. Learning that he has Castilian and Native American roots felt like a missing piece of the puzzle—it perfectly explains our deep-rooted love for nature, animals, art, and spirituality.
